STEAM4Hope vol.2

STEAM4Hope vol. 2 grew out of an initiative by young volunteers who want to use STEAM workshops (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) to give children and young people with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to learn, grow and make friends.

About the project

In cooperation with the Juraj Bonači Centre, Sinj branch, and with the support of the association Inkubator dječje izvrsnosti, a series of adapted workshops, hackathons and educational activities is carried out over 12 months for 20 users of the Centre and their peers from Ivan Lovrić Primary School.

Project goals

  • increase the social inclusion of children and young people with intellectual disabilities
  • develop their cognitive, social and creative skills
  • create a safe and stimulating environment where everyone has an equal chance to progress

Through STEAM4Hope vol. 2 we show that innovative learning methods, creativity and solidarity can change a community, step by step, together.
